advocacy organization. Their mission is to facilitate the Korean-American
community’s participation in civic, legislative, and community affairs, encouraging
the community to contribute to and become an integral part of American society.
Asian Cultural Experience - One of Atlanta's most popular multi-cultural events.
This annual family-oriented event has grown in scope and audience. The success
and enthusiasm of the original core of volunteers has attracted new participants
from Atlanta's Cambodian, Chinese, Indian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean,
Laotian, Malaysian, Filipino, Thai, Taiwanese and Vietnamese communities. Each
year, thousands of visitors enjoy two days of music, dancing, delicious food, fine
art, native crafts, fashion shows and much more.
Taiwanese School of Georgia - is a newly founded language school by
Taiwanese American in Metro Atlanta. The school hosts Saturday classes at North
Gwinnett High School. The mission of TSG is to enhance youth education in
Taiwanese Culture, Arts, History, Language, and Mandarin Chinese. To promote
education in general, the school also provides SAT, PSAT, and English Writing
classes to local communities.
